Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP)

With over 30 years of continuous growth, ECC Horizon is inviting Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) to join our current team of LSRPs in the firm's two New Jersey offices.

Historically, we've specialized in providing claim settlement, consulting and remediation services to insurers and policyholders nationwide. In recent years, the firm has also experienced rapid growth in the industrial and commercial property segment. In that practice area, our LSRPs now lead motivated and experienced technical teams in resolving many complex projects.

Associate Project Manager

Successful Associate Project Managers direct multiple activities and engage in broad client contact, project design, supervision, budgeting and auditing.

Associate Project Managers are responsible for: (1) establishing causation, (2) designing project budgets, (3) assessing and allocating vendor service costs, (4) devising and executing investigation/remediation strategies, as well as (5) supervising professional staff and contractor personnel. In-house professional training is provided.

Qualified candidates have the following skills and/or credentials:

  • 3 years or more of direct site investigation and remediation experience.

  • Academic degrees in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.

  • Advanced degrees are highly desired but not required.

  • Knowledge of regional technical requirements, rules and regulations.

  • Demonstrated success in supervising sub-contractor personnel.

  • Strong work ethic and collegial personality.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Sharp critical thinking and problem solving abilities.

Associate Risk Manager

Associate Risk Managers direct multiple activities and engage broadly in client contact, project design, budgeting, auditing, and supervision.  A minimum of 8 to12 years direct experience in site investigation and remediation is required.

An undergraduate degree in environmental engineering, geology, hydrogeology or environmental science is also required. Graduate degrees are highly valued.

Litigation support experience is a plus. Associate Risk Managers at ECC Horizon are responsible for establishing causation of damages, developing allocation rationales, designing budgets, approving costs, devising and implementing investigation/remediation strategies as well as supervising contractor personnel.

Excellent written and oral communication skills ensure career advancement. ​

Field Technician

Field Technicians have direct field experience in site investigations and remedial actions. An undergraduate degree in geology, environmental engineering, environmental science or a related area is useful but not always required.

Field Technicians function independently and are involved in installing and maintaining remediation and groundwater pumping systems, collecting soil and water samples, and assisting in a variety of other site investigation and remediation activities.

Good oral communication skills are required. ​
